Step by Step Guide how to use THORSwap and how to migrate from BEPSwap.

Hello! Welcome runie! So you are here to learn about how to use THORSwap?

First, you need to either create an Asgard Wallet or connect your TrustWallet or Metamask.

To create a wallet, you need to click the CONNECT button:

Click “create wallet”

Type in your password and then click create. But, before you do please read below!

*This is the password you use to decrypt your encrypted Keystore file!

IMPORTANT:
- You will need to enter your password to sign off transactions, to unlock your seed phrase, transfer between wallets, upgrade your $RUNE, enter and withdraw funds from LP, and when you initially connect to THORSwap.
- Make sure it is a secure password aka strong AF.
- Do not Forget it! As this may cause you to lose your funds!
- The best place to store your password? In your brain. Or if you are forgetful then write it down, laminate it and then store it in a safe place. Preferably in a vault in a bank with a cute but vicious guard dog.

After you click create, you will get your encrypted Keystore file:

Don’t open it….Just kidding but unless you speak robot it’s just a bunch of text coded by a mere human.

However, please store it safely! As your funds may be lost if you lose the file!

IMPORTANT: Don’t share your Keystore file with anyone, and please don’t put it on the cloud unless it is an encrypted cloud storage service.

The good thing is; that you can’t access it without your password. Oh please tell me you remember your password?

Anyways, after the file is downloaded you can now view your ASGARD wallet:

See all your lovely wallets!

Next, you need to learn where to find your Seed Phrase and then store that safely.

Enter your password to unlock your seed phrase. Store this safely! Or again use your brain to memorize it.

Now I know I am a hypocrite but this is for your own safety, I have sacrificed myself!

NEVER SHARE YOUR 12 SEED PHASE WITH ANYONE!

If you lose your Keystore file, the seed phase along with your password allows you to recover your wallet by enabling you to redownload the Keystore file.

Can I use the same 12 SEED PHRASES I am already using with TrustWallet and Metamask?

Yes, you can use any multi-coin wallet in the THORSwap. Any BIP39 standard 12 seed phrases can be used for wallet.

Import your seed phrase and password.

Trust Wallet, Metamask, and hardware wallets will be supported soon!

In fact…..

Multichain Chaosnet is still in BETA, Take your onw Risk. Back up your seed phrase, keystore and password seriously and do not play with large funds.

Awesome! Now you will need to upgrade to THOR.RUNE in order to trade and provide liquidity (see below)

How to Migrate from BEPSwap to THORSwap?

Let’s migrate to Valhalla!

So basically we need to upgrade to native THOR.RUNE in order to use MCCN — Since previously we were using BNB.RUNE (BEP2) and ETH.RUNE (ERC-20).

Note:

When upgrading BNB.RUNE to THOR.RUNE, you will need BNB in THORSwap to pay for the tx fees.

When upgrading ETH.RUNE to THOR.RUNE, you will need ETH in THORSwap to pay for the tx fees.

Important — Please send small amounts

BNB.RUNE (BEP2)

Step 1: Connect your wallet to BEPSWAP

Either Wallet Connect with TrustWallet, LEDGER or with a Keystore file.

Step 2: Copy your Binance Chain Address on THORSwap

Step 3. Send your Rune from BEPSwap to THORSwap.

a) Click SEND

b)Input how much you want to send.
c) Paste your MCCN address into Recipient (red box below)

You don’t need a MEMO. Double or triple check the address is correct.
Then drag to send…..

Transaction sent successfully! You can click VIEW TX and it will take you to the transaction record on Binance chain.

d) Click refresh on THORSwap and you will see your RUNE’ies!

Now to upgrade, remember you need BNB to process the tx!

Step 4. Send BNB to THORSwap

So, do exactly the same method you did with BNB.RUNE but instead send some BNB.

Same address. Literally the same.

Cool! Now you should have BNB.RUNE and BNB in your wallet as seen below (remember to click refresh).

Step 5. Click “UPGRADE” to change from BNB.RUNE to THOR.RUNE

Should look like this…
a) Decide how much you want to upgrade and then click upgrade :-)

b) Enter password

c) Transaction should pop up on the top right. Click the arrow (red square) for drop-down menu. Click the binance transaction information (red circle). Wait for it to say SUCCESS.
