⚡ TrustWallet now supports Native RUNE ⚡
Thorchain, Binance Chain, and Ethereum are fully supported by TrustWallet. Go upgrade your ETH.RUNE and BNB.RUNE to THOR.RUNE directly on THORSwap by using WalletConnect.
You can now have a thor wallet address on TrustWallet which means you can swap, store, transfer, and provide liquidity with Native RUNE!
If you are upgrading ETH.RUNE (ERC20) to THOR.RUNE, you will need additional ETH for gas to process the tx.
If you are upgrading BNB.RUNE (BEP2) to THOR.RUNE, you will need additional BNB for gas to process the tx.
Step 1. Click “Connect”
Phase 1 successfully launched with over 3500 Twitter handles registered as THORNames. Amongst these were CT influencers, DeFi devs, financial figures, and many thorchads like yourselves.
We are lauching Phase 2 of the THORName Service (TNS), you will now be able to pre-order custom THORNames with a 50% discount 🔥
ThorName Service (TNS) are vanity addresses that essentially simplify and humanise thorchain wallet addresses to optimise cross-chain compatibility.
In short, it is a domain naming system for your wallet based on the THORChain blockchain. This will simplify your multichain wallet address and open a marketplace to buy and sell THORNames.
It is a fun and necessary alternative to machine-readable identifiers such as cryptocurrency addresses and metadata. In practice, you are assigning your THORCHain address with a name, hence THORName.
i.e lets say you assign “chad” to your THORChain address, instead of using “thor1xcn7fg2gzqe4hef21e545” it will become “chad.thor”.

THORSwap now supports 5 different wallet options 🤯!
📟 Ledger (Binance Chain only)
Massive props to the dev team for shipping this integration out smoothly and quickly!
- Ledger support for all other chains is under development and will be released soon.
- Native RUNE will also be integrated with TrustWallet.
This article will touch on the use cases of these wallet integrations and also how to connect your chosen wallet.
A liquidity provider (LP) is an individual who deposits their assets into liquidity pools. Traders will use these liquidity pools to swap their assets. By providing liquidity for traders, you will earn yield on your assets from trading fees, incentives, and block rewards.
Impermanent Loss Protection (ILP)
Liquidity Providers will receive linear IL protection for 100 days. Essentially this means you are adding 1% protection for every day that you provide liquidity.
49 days provided = 49% IL protection,
100 days = 100% IL protection.
we will talk more in-depth about ILP later.
